‘Deliver Livestock Identification & Traceability solutions for the Food & Fibre supply chains globally’
WHAT WE DO
-

Australia leads the world in identification, traceability and biosecurity, but current systems rely on: - Old technology, inc externally applied tags - Fallout, Fail or Lost
- Manual data recording is needed.
- Old databases – limited access, and not user-friendly or fit-for-purpose.
- Paper trails to determine movement history.
- Same time, and cost per head, regardless of end use, level of risk or value of animal.

-

There are over 25 million cattle, 68 million sheep, 5 million pigs and 3 million goats in Australia that are required by law to be identified and movements recorded. Industry continues to seek out better and more cost-effective systems to meet this need. Globally, the demand for identification and traceability of livestock is rapidly increasing to deliver biosecurity, market access, consumer requirements and stop stock theft.

      iTRAK®ID
‘Livestock Identification SIMPLIFIED is coming soon’
iTRAKassets are developing for iTRAK®, the ‘next generation’ livestock identification and traceability system using Retinal scanning to create a tamper-proof livestock identifier then synchronising with Facial Recognition to deliver livestock identification at a commercial speed from a distance of 3-5 metres plus as a bonus deliver the age, heart rate and temperature of animals.
-

iTRAK®ID technology delivers significant value to the livestock supply chain in terms of: - Addressing increasing issues in concern to the livestock supply chain.
- 'Future-proofing’ the industries against the challenges of traceability.
- An easy to use, cost-effective identification and traceability solution.
- A system reliant on an animal’s biometrics, therefore truly tamper-proof, eliminating the risk of identity fraud and verifying ownership.
- Reduced reliance on externally applied processes or devices, such as ear-marks, brands, ear tags, electronic ear tags, rumen boluses. All of which can be defaced, removed or lost.
- Certainty to any claims or verification regarding meat or livestock.
- Underpinning assurance in the supply chain for meat and livestock.
- Genuine whole-of-life traceability to individual animals.
